About Manna Du Jour

Building bridges. Restoring lives.

We’re a Christ-centered nonprofit that walks with people coming out of prison, off the street, and back into ordinary life — and we do it around a kitchen.

Who we are

Manna Du Jour is a 501(c)(3) ministry. The work is simple to say and slow to do: we help people who’ve been written off find their footing again. Prisoners. The homeless. Men and women rebuilding a life after a hard chapter.

The kitchen is where it happens. People in our program learn to cook, to serve, and to run the back-of-house — real skills, real work, a real way forward. The catering you order is made by those same hands.

“Founded on the real bridge of Christ, we hope to build bridges from incarcerated to freedom, from homelessness to home, from death into life with Him.”

— Neal Burgard, Founder

Every order does double duty

When you book catering with us, you get food made with care — and you put someone to work who’s earning their next chapter. Cooking, serving, and the everyday discipline of running a kitchen become the skills that carry people back into steady jobs and steady lives.

Alongside the trade, there’s mentorship and discipleship for anyone who wants it. We don’t hide why we do this, and we don’t force it on anyone. The bridge is open.
